Sega Master System

Here's the place to go to talk about all things "classic". Today, classic means "before PlayStation 2". Finally a place to discuss RCA Studio II and Fairchild Channel F! Or any of those other systems by Atari, Nintendo, Sega, etc.

Sega Master System

So its that time of the year again and i busted out the sega master system. After about 20 min of play you realize why its in the bottom of a box under your bed. If you think the games are bad or the graphics are terrible then your wrong. I can still only get to the 2nd boss in Shinobi and only the 5th level in Alex Kidd In Miracle World. Although Alien Syndrome for Sega Master is a hundred times better than for the Wii (kind of sad). Although i am proud to admit i finally beat Hang-on but when i say beat i really mean the levels run out and you start again at level 1.

Shinobi was a damn hard game, but I usually ran into trouble with the third boss and the fourth level. I used to be afraid of that wall of demons boss in the third level... the pressure of imminent death was too much for a 6 year old. The fourth level was difficult because of the jumps. From an early age, I learned to despite poor gameplay decisions such as bottomless pits that would leave you with level 1 equipment and basically spell your doom.

My Master System has been broken for years... and I can't find any of the games which should be in a box in the basement. I want to buy a collection off of eBay some time, but I haven't had the motivation to do so. I will for sure when I get my own place and develop a game room.
